Antique Art Nouveau tray, produced by the metalware factory of Max Dannhorn in collaboration with Villeroy & Boch.

Around 1900 it was a very successful combination: the German firm of Max Dannhorn made the pierced metal frames and handles (often brass, nickel, or tin), while the ceramic or porcelain interior featured a bouquet of colored violets. 
Manufactured by the renowned Villeroy & Boch.

If you turn the tray over, you will see stamps from both brands: a tree-and-horn logo with the letters 'M' and 'D' for Dannhorn, as well as the factory marks of Villeroy & Boch.

Antiek Art-Nouveau dienblad, geproduceerd door de metaalwarenfabriek van Max Dannhorn in samenwerking met Villeroy & Boch.

Rond 1900 was het een zeer succesvolle combinatie: de Duitse firma van Max Dannhorn maakte de opengewerkte metalen (vaak messing, nikkel of tin) frames en handvatten, terwijl de keramische of porseleinen binnenzijde met een boeket van gekleurde violen.
Gefabriceerd door het bekende Villeroy & Boch.

Als u het dienblad omdraait, ziet u stempels van beide merken: een boom- en hoorn-logo met de letters 'M' en 'D' van Dannhorn, evenals de fabriekskenmerken van Villeroy & Boch.
