Description from the seller

Magnificent set of six white wine glasses in crystal, belonging to the prestigious Harcourt 1841 collection of the famous Baccarat Maison.

Created in 1841, Harcourt is the oldest service kept in Baccarat archives and represents one of the highest expressions of French table art. Its silhouette, solemn and immediately recognizable, is characterized by the hexagonal base, the goblet carved into six wide facets and the iconic stem composed of three overlapping elements.

The rigorous, architectural construction gives each glass a strong presence, while the crystal captures and refracts light with extraordinary intensity. Chosen over time for imperial, royal and presidential tables, Harcourt has become an authentic symbol of Baccarat savoir-faire and French elegance.

The lot includes six white wine glasses, all new and in impeccable condition. Each glass bears the Baccarat signature incised on the base, as documented in the photographs.

A set of great prestige, ideal for gracing an important table or enriching a collection of high-manufacture French crystal.
