Description from the seller
Lawrence Starkey is one of the World's finest Photorealist or Hyper-realist Artists. His paintings have a verve and a life force that is unequalled. The paintings are rendered with a dedicated perfection and the finish and the attention to detail is exquisite. His work is in Corporate, Public and Private Collections worldwide, and he continues to paint in his native Australia. I was his Art Dealer In the early eighties, and have three of his paintings in my collection, purchasing them from an Exhibition in Western Queensland, Australia. These are some of his earliest works, but from the beginning of his career, the skill he possessed is clearly evident. It is an honour and a pleasure to own one of his paintings and to stand in front of them and be awed by the expertise and the timelessness that an incredible artwork exudes. This painting of outback Australia has an almost Pointillist appearance and is quite unlike any of his others.
The frame requires replacing, as it is dated.
The Artwork will be carefully and professional wrapped and forwarded by an International Carrier.
