Eleni Zouni (1954) - Deep dive

This abstract painting explores emotion, balance, and movement through a warm palette of orange, yellow, and subtle blue accents. Bold black lines divide the composition, creating a sense of structure while allowing expressive brushstrokes to flow freely across the canvas. Layers of translucent paint, textured surfaces, and spontaneous marks suggest memories, landscapes, or inner thoughts rather than literal forms. The contrast between energetic gestures and quiet open spaces gives the artwork a contemplative atmosphere. Rich in texture and symbolism, the painting invites viewers to interpret its shapes and colors personally, encouraging reflection, imagination, and an emotional connection with the composition.
