Conrad Kickert was born in The Hague on 23 November 1882 and died in Paris on 26 June 1965.
As a painter, self-taught. Cubist.
Co-founder of the Modern Art Circle together with Piet Mondriaan, Jan Sluijters and Jan Toorop.
Teacher of, among others, Frits Klein, W.A. van der Colk and H.J. Calkoen.
Art critic for De Amsterdammer, De Groene and Het Vaderland.
Active in The Hague, Haarlem, Zandvoort, Amsterdam and Paris from 1912.
