"From painter-decorator to painting, for me there was only one step." This step ELGÉ took after creating the decor for "100 painters of Montmartre in PARIS La DÉFENSE" in 1985. ...immersion in the circle of Montmartre painters and participation in painting exhibitions in Paris and the suburbs as a self-taught painter and affiliation with LA MAISON DES ARTISTES (1985).
In 1990 he settled in Lot-et-Garonne and joined the École des Beaux-Arts of Villeneuve-sur-Lot. His solo exhibitions take him all over France. He also participates in competitions organized at certain fairs with the following results:
Rabelais d’Or City of Chinon.
1st prize jury Salon des Artisans d’Art de la Foire de Paris.
1st prize audience Salon des Artisans d’Art de la Foire de Paris.
1st prize jury Aiguillon (47).
Audience prize Villeneuve-sur-Lot (47).
3rd prize jury Pujols (47)

In 2015 ELGÉ settled down and organized his regional solo exhibitions, which earned him some press articles and he began online and studio sales.
