Valuable and important lot of three first editions of the famous war, propaganda, and interventionist works by Gabriele D'Annunzio, published between 1918 and 1919.
The lot includes the narrative and testimonies of the iconic naval action of the "Beffa di Buccari", together with two of the most significant texts issued by the La Fionda library related to the post-war and triesto period, enriched with wood engravings and period ornaments.
1) Gabriele D'Annunzio, La beffa di Buccari with additions La canzone del Quarnaro, Il catalogo dei trenta di Buccari, Il cartello manoscritto e due carte marine. Milano, Fratelli Treves Editori, 1918.
