Under the pseudonym Adrian Voss, David Law is a contemporary artist whose work explores notions of calm, space and visual perception. His approach is part of a research into how shapes, volumes and light can create a contemplative experience, free from any narration.
Through silent landscapes, deliberately deserted cities, isolated architectures and abstract compositions, Adrian Voss develops a streamlined visual language, centered on balance and restraint. Places present themselves as suspended spaces, inviting pause and observation.
His work gives essential place to negative space, slow rhythms and deliberately limited color palettes. Whether organic abstraction or soft geometry, forms are approached as autonomous visual structures, detached from any figurative reference.

Artist Photographer – Creator of contemporary images
Multidisciplinary artist photographer, author and musician, David Law develops a body of work centered on gaze, presence and the perception of the image in urban space. He first made a name for himself with a series dedicated to shop-window models, integrated into the city through a subtle play of reflections and superimpositions. This exploration of gaze and presence gave birth to an art book published in 2021. Later intrigued by the singular aesthetics of collectible dolls and Japanese figurines, he extends this reflection by staging them in the streets of Paris and other European capitals. Through framing, light and composition, these inanimate models acquire a troubling, almost living presence, questioning our relationship to illusion and projection.
Since 2022, David Law has been developing a new body of works using professional graphic tools such as a graphic tablet or Photoshop—he develops specific series on themes that fascinate him. You will find the description under each visual presented.
Edition & Production
Each work is offered in a limited edition of 8 numbered copies + 4 artist’s proofs (A.P.), signed by the artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The prints are produced on aluminum with a built-in rear mounting. Printed on luminous white vinyl, mounted between two aluminum panels, with a soft UV and humidity-resistant lamination, ensuring excellent durability, great long-term resistance, color stability and a modern and contemporary rendering.
Exhibition history
Since 2014, David Law participates in about twenty Contemporary Art fairs per year in France and Europe. He is also the official photographer and videographer for several organizers of contemporary art fairs. In parallel with his visual activity, he develops an authorial and musical body of work including 3 novels, a collection of short stories, a comic book, a photo book and 5 self-produced CDs. As a singer-guitarist, he currently performs with the group FRENZY.
