Ladies' yellow gold 14K (585/1000) ring with a central round garnet and six surrounding pear-cut garnets, total weight 4.3 g, ring size EU 59, origin Netherlands, circa 1940 Amsterdam, no laboratory report, free resizing offered.
Description from the seller
Stylish, classic and very feminine ring in 14k yellow gold (585/1000), set with a central round-cut garnet and six pear-shaped faceted garnet stones around it.
That this ring was crafted by a master goldsmith is evident from the refined finish, such as the twisted wires around the settings.
The gold of this ring is in excellent condition, but the garnet stones show some signs of wear but no cracks (see the photos), which corresponds to an age of around 80–90 years! Amsterdam, around 1940.
With Dutch assay marks:
The cloverleaf mark with 585
The Amsterdam city mark with the three St. Andrew's crosses in a rectangular frame (1814–1953)
Diameter of the setting: 17.9 mm
Band width: 2.35 mm
Ring size: 19
Weight: 4.3 g
