Description from the seller

Beautiful and finely hand-painted Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica porcelain plate, model no. 20/3549. 25 cm diameter.
The centre is decorated with the botanical specimen “Matricaria inodora, β salina Wallr.”, with the Latin botanical name handwritten on the reverse. The flowers, foliage and roots are exceptionally detailed, surrounded by the characteristic Flora Danica border in pink, green and rich gilding.
The reverse bears the Royal Copenhagen crown mark and three blue waves, model number 20/3549, and painter/decorator number 8.
Condition:
Very good overall condition. No cracks or repairs. There is a very small chip/nick to the tip of one of the outer serrations 1.mm, visible in the close-up photographs. The defect is minor and hardly noticeable when the plate is displayed. Some very light age-related wear to the gilding may be present.
A highly decorative and collectible example of Royal Copenhagen’s famous Flora Danica service.
