Description from the seller
A sky of deep blue, an even deeper sea. A silver Porsche 356 Speedster, black top down, is parked on a light limestone platform; leaning against the rear wing, a blonde woman in a white shirt tied at the waist and ivory linen pants, with bare feet and a red ribbon in her hair, gazes out to sea. To the left, Aleppo pine bent by the wind, white rocks, a calanque of crystal turquoise; tufts of rosemary dot the ground. Semiotically, the canvas is a lesson in harmony: the white of the clothing and the silver of the bodywork form a single light material, against which the red of the scarf and the blue of the water respond to one another from afar. The blue shadow cast under the car anchors the whole. Smooth execution, firm drawing, full Mediterranean saturation.
