LeYack’s 2022 hand-signed giclée on canvas, titled “Ask the Dust,” is a 20‑edition limited print (40 x 40 cm) with a certificate of authenticity, shipped from France and ready to frame.
Description from the seller
Twilight on the heights. From behind, a brown-haired woman with a low bun, a long black dress with fine straps and a plunging back, stands against the wing of a garnet coupe with bright chrome, one hand resting on the glass of the open door window, gaze turned toward the valley. Under her, the vast sheet of urban lights — hints of gold, amber and white stabbed into the deep blue — and on the horizon, the last orange band of the setting sun. Semiotically, the canvas opposes two orders of light: the artificial, innumerable city light, and the unique, fading light of the sky; the black figure sits between the two as a silhouette of shared space. Rich texture, definite impasto in the lights, smooth precision on the bodywork and the skin.
