Nuptials at Tipasa - Hand-signed is a 2022 limited-edition giclée on canvas by LeYack, 40 × 40 cm, hand-signed, edition of 20, produced in France and sold directly from the artist with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Midday on a promontory of pale limestone. Seated with her back against the wing of a red roadster with its black roof folded, a woman in a sleeveless black sheath dress, a golden silk scarf tied at the nape, black stiletto heels and a tawny leather bag resting on the ground, gazes at the blue cove. To the left, two wind-bent pines; in the distance, a white cliff, a stretch of road, the sea in a vivid blue. Semiotically, the scene plays on the contrast between the three color masses—the black of the dress, the red of the bodywork, the blue of the water—against the sandy background of the track, and the violet shadow cast in the foreground gives structure to the entire composition. Bold, confident workmanship, controlled flat areas, sun saturation: precisionism at the service of a Mediterranean landscape.
