Description from the seller
Original painting by LORIN, part of ongoing research into the human figure emerging from tactile surfaces and color. Lorin's research focuses on the female figure as an emotional and symbolic space, where presence, identity, and perception meet.
Time Ownership arises from the idea that owning one’s own time does not simply mean having free hours, but being able to consciously decide what to devote them to. In a society where much of our days are governed by commitments, notifications, and external demands, time has perhaps become one of the rarest forms of personal freedom.
In the painting this idea takes the form of a motionless woman, seated beside three lit candles. She is not waiting for something and does not appear to have an immediate destination: her most important gesture is precisely to stop. The candles slowly consume their own time whereas the figure, by contrast, finally seems to appropriate her own time. - Originality: Each work is an original piece, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
- Condition: The work is professionally mounted on a wooden frame and is ready to hang, with no need for further interventions or refinishing.
- Protection: Careful packaging with professional materials to ensure maximum protection during transport.
- Shipping: Fast shipping. For shipments outside the European Union, delivery times may vary depending on local customs procedures.
Some images may show the work placed in illustrative settings to facilitate viewing in different contexts or with different framing solutions. The proportions are consistent with the real dimensions of the work.
