Description from the seller
Original work by Brazilian artist Regina Chulam (born 1950), titled “Aquário,” created in 1988.
Waxed acrylic on canvas, dimensions 55 × 38 cm. Work signed at the lower left. On the verso there is a handwritten inscription by the artist as well as an original label indicating the title, the dimensions, the year 1988, and the technique “acrílico encerado s/tela.”
Abstract, marine-inspired composition, in a palette primarily of black, gray and white, with touches of green, blue and brown.
The canvas is mounted on its original stretcher and has a hanging system. Sold without an outer frame.
Good overall condition given its age. The painted surface is well preserved. Some slight signs of age, marks on the edges and dust on the verso are visible. No known restoration. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show the exact condition of the work.
The work will be carefully protected and packed for transport.
