The piece presents a contemporary visual language characterized by the combination of geometric structure, organic composition, and a rich selection of opalescent and textured art glass.
A singular contemporary lamp of art glass, composed of four independent facets and conceived to be viewed from 360 degrees.
The piece is made using the Glass on Glass (GOG) technique, also known as glass mosaic over glass, in which carefully selected fragments of art glass are laid on a glass surface to create an image and a visual structure that gain special richness when the piece is illuminated from within.
The composition combines a geometric and architectural structure with organic and vertical shapes, creating an interesting contrast between straight lines, irregular fragments, and translucent color zones. Each of the four faces presents its own reading, so the lamp’s appearance changes when viewed from different angles.
Art glass of opalescent, veined, and textured character has been used, including references to art glass such as Wissmach, as well as different glass types with Antique, Streaky, Wispy effects and other decorative glasses. The diversity of textures and transparencies allows light to pass through the various fragments with varying intensities and tonal ranges.
The result sits midway between a functional luminaire and a small glass sculpture: when off, the composition, color, and texture predominate; when lit, the glass gains depth and the different layers and fragments become especially visible.
Artistic language
The composition shows visual affinities with geometric abstraction and Neoplasticism, especially through the use of vertical structures, geometric partitioning, and chromatic fields.
At the same time, certain organic and vertical elements may recall the language developed by Frank Lloyd Wright in his architectural glass designs, where natural forms are transformed into abstract geometric compositions.
The piece stands out for its use of authentic art glass, not plastic or painted material attempting to imitate glass.

The GOG technique preserves the natural characteristics of each fragment: opalescence, veining, transparencies, color variations, and textures. The intentional irregularity of the fragments is part of the artwork’s aesthetics.
The construction has a significant physical presence for its dimensions, with an approximate weight of 4.6 kg.
