Silver Amazigh talisman ring from Morocco, EU size 54 (US 6 ¾), weight 2.76 g, in very good condition with minor wear, featuring a long diamond-shaped central motif (Tazerzit) believed to symbolise femininity and fertility, lunar protection, an eye to ward off the evil eye, and floral side ornaments representing life and rebirth; authentic model from southern Moroccan Amazigh craftsmanship.
Description from the seller
Talisman-inspired jewelry
Central motif of an elongated carved diamond shape [Tazerzit], a sign of sacred femininity and fertility, and also, as here engraved on silver [a protective metal linked to the Moon], an eye to ward off the evil eye and protect the wearer
Floral ornaments on the sides that represent life and rebirth, and, intertwined with the diamond, reinforce the symbol of blossoming and prosperity
These vegetal and geometric motifs are typical of the Amazigh artisanry of the Moroccan South, as well as their association, notably on ancient adornments
This delicate and singular piece is relatively rare due to its pared-down, almost minimalist and modern form, especially since it is not a reproduction but an authentic model
