Description from the seller
Unique WORK by ERIC LESPINASSE — 1/1 · World exclusive on Catawiki.
World-unique piece: only one person will own this work.
Title of the work: #6 - Taurus
Giclée on canvas — from the 2023 "Taurus" series.
Original canvas from the artist's workshop by Eric Lespinasse.
Elegance, modernity and high quality are the words that best define the finish of this work.
Presentation of the Work:
The Taurus series evokes the raw power of the animal kingdom in a suspended space between shadow and light, where matter seems to explode from within the subject. Each work captures the charging moment, that interval of absolute tension where the earth tears under the hoof and where the air becomes dust and rattle. Lespinasse works contrast as a drama — the midnight blue of the flesh against the ardent ochre of the raised ground — to inscribe the beast in a contemporary mythology, at the boundary of the real and epic breath.
Destination:
Whether you are a private buyer, professional, enthusiast or collector, this work is for you. Ready to inject a remarkable touch into your interior, your office, a waiting room or a restaurant? Treat yourself to a timeless and singular artwork that will surely elevate any environment.
Bring life to your walls!
Details of the Work:
Marginless on 350 g/m² fine art canvas (high-quality poly-cotton blend), latex inks, marginless, unframed and without a frame.
As it is a XXL canvas, it should be viewed from a slight distance: the 300 DPI definition offers optimal reading at around 1.5 m (not up close like a photographic print).
Dimensions: 160 x 90 cm
Year of production 2026
UNIQUE Work 1/1 numbered and hand-signed by the artist on the back of the work.
Shipped with a certificate of authenticity (COA).
New / No frame / Unframed.
Marginless
Technique used & creative process:
The artist mainly uses the Adobe suite (Illustrator — Photoshop — Lightroom) to produce the base of the work. Generative tools (AI) such as Midjourney may be used to modify certain textures, backgrounds or integrations into a scene.
A specialized AI upscaling tool ("Megapixel") is systematically used to enable editing of XXL large formats in high definition.
Delivery information (read carefully before bidding):
Your Canvas will be shipped rolled in an appropriately sized cardboard tube.
Shipping fees include a non-refundable packaging and handling contribution of €10.
I no longer offer combined shipping: all works are individually packaged prior to sale to be shipped to collectors within the timeframe set by Catawiki.
Depending on your country of residence, domestic and international shipments are sent via CHRONOPOST or UPS. Country-specific duties, taxes, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer; customs clearance services, duties, levies, VAT and other taxes may be charged upon delivery of the package.

Seller's Story
Born in 1974, Eric Lespinasse is an established French artist based in Paris. His work can be found in numerous private collections around the world, as well as in a multitude of professional premises (restaurants, medical practices, cinemas, real estate agencies, kitchen shops, tattoo parlors, etc.).
A photographer for 25 years, he is also a painter and digital designer. His works are known for their character, where the incidence of light makes them almost painterly. They are a skilful blend of poetry and homage to the world and the human being. His technique is a combination of traditional photography and digital image editing. This combination enables her to create unique, emotionally engaging works of art that faithfully represent her vision, influences and sensitivity. The role of any photographer is to capture and deliver to the public an emotional panel of each moment he captures. This is how he came to create "photographic poetry", where each of his delicate, poetic images projects you into the art and culture of the ephemeral world around us, frozen for eternity, transforming the evanescent moment into a timeless work of witness. It's with this same sensitivity and heart that he invests each of his creations, in all artistic fields, from photography to the creation of digital works.
