Sonia Anton is a Romanian-Australian artist whose passion for painting was shaped from an early age, growing up alongside her mother, a celebrated artist whose work left a lasting impression. Raised in a home shared with a photographer father and an artist mother, and having lived across the world, from Australia to Mexico, France to New Zealand, and now settled in Bucharest, Romania, Sonia brings a richness of experience and perspective to every canvas.

Surrounded by creativity and self-expression from childhood, she naturally found her own voice through paint and colour. Her work is abstract and expressive, driven by instinct rather than plan. Each piece begins without a fixed image in mind, letting colour, gesture, and texture lead the way.
