Internally generally well preserved on good-quality paper, with sporadic foxing, small stains and natural signs of use. Present is a large engraved plate related to Giovanni Bianchini and Emperor Frederick III, derived from an ancient miniature and accompanied by a reproduction of the manuscript text. Pages 423, 387; very slight binding wear, very light foxing, restorative work to the first blank page of Volume II, overall more than good, marginated and with a flyleaf and a plate out of text. In old books with a long history, some imperfections may be present, not always noted in the description.
