Casket - Wood - Planet display case - 40 cm

Travel chest, planet holder or Mass kit, in wood and entirely hand-carved with fanciful motifs. It probably comes from a Tyrol or Upper Veneto area judging by its shape, the decorations, and the wood used. Decorated on all four sides and on the lid with meticulous monastic carving, patina of age, and measurements of 40x20x23 cm.
