Our standards:
- Each bonsai is delivered with a sample packet of our favored organic long-term bonsai fertilizer.
- To determine trunk width, we place the measuring tool at mid-height between the root collar and the first branch (see example image). If there are multiple trunks, the widest is chosen.
- All our trees are planted in a substrate mix developed by us.
- Where available, we reuse old packaging for shipping to be environmentally friendly.
- The trees are watered before shipping, protected from drying out, and securely fixed inside the shipping carton.
- Shipping is insured.
- We engage service providers who state they typically deliver within a maximum of 4 business days.
- We ship on the following Monday after payment is received on Catawiki to avoid weekend delivery delays.
