“ARCHEMISIO” is a contemporary painter renowned for his hyperrealist works created in oil on canvas, where he fuses photographic precision with the dramatic lighting typical of Caravaggio. Raised among the streets of Rome, from a young age he was drawn to the Baroque masterpieces displayed in the city’s churches and museums, developing a passion for the contrast between light and shadow and the emotional intensity of the figures.

After studying at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, Archemisio traveled across Europe and the United States, refining the hyperrealist technique through the study of modern artists. However, his style is distinguished by a Caravaggesque heritage: his works capture minute details (from skin wrinkles to reflections on an object) yet are immersed in a theatrical and directional light, which sculpts the volumes and creates an atmosphere rich in symbolism.
