Description from the seller

Ivory Porcelain
Excellent condition
Rosenthal
Small plates: Ø 15.5 cm. Height 2 cm.
Large plate: Length 24 cm. Width 25 cm. Height 4.5 cm.
Italian Post

This splendid set consists of porcelain plates from the famous Rosenthal Moliere line (produced in Bavaria, Germany). The Moliere series is renowned among collectors for its characteristic wavy, pierced edges (honeycomb lattice) finished in pure gold, paired with refined floral or botanical decorations.
Purchased in 1895, it comprises a larger serving plate with shaped handles and 6 smaller dessert or appetizer plates.
They are presented in excellent condition, no chips or crazing; note that the bottom of the plate is not as bright as the rims, but they are marvelous.
Please carefully view the photographs, as they form an integral part of the description.

The decoration features elegant floral branches in dark green and gold tones, with a small insect or floral detail painted at the center of each plate.
In addition to the Rosenthal mark, there is also a mark representing a red-winged crown, an indicator of quality and finish, signifying that the pieces belonged to a luxury line hand-decorated, and were used specifically for upscale foreign-market lots.
Any duties or additional charges will be borne by the buyer.
