A substantial vintage Certina Swiss wristwatch in solid yellow gold, dating from approximately the 1980s.
The watch has an elegant and understated Swiss dress-watch design, with a light silver/white dial, applied baton hour markers, slim hands and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. The case measures approximately 32 mm in diameter excluding the crown. It has a finely articulated woven/multi-link construction that gives the watch the appearance of a continuous piece of gold jewellery.
With its considerable 57.7 g gross weight, this is an unusually substantial precious-metal watch. Please note that the stated weight is the total gross weight of the complete watch, including the movement, dial, crystal and other non-gold components; it should therefore not be interpreted as 57.7 g of gold.
