A smoothly painted miniature painting by the Dutch-Danish artist Borgen Lindhardt.
Graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts Maastricht (1996). Uses Borgen Lindhardt as a signature name and is known for her “kimono-series”, inspired by the work of G. H. Breitner. Creates oil paintings in which old masters, combined with personal elements (cat, painting tools and fantasy figures), form a new spectacle. Her style is characterized by a visible brushstroke, ranging from labor-intensive, playful works to brisk, sketchy paintings.
