This exchange between a bookstore owner, a serial killer, and a 12-year-old boy who admires him sums up in itself everything that makes the flavor of this very good noir 'new wave' (in the cinematic sense) served by Tardi and Siniac: atmosphere, dialogue, black humor, cynicism…

Before appearing in a more traditional format, this album was released as a journal published in 5 issues. In this more confidential distribution, you would find the pages of the album and also brief notices, current events, some long-form articles and others dedicated to the case, which added to the late-1950s atmosphere of the whole.
