Painted by the artist Gerardus Johannes Ernens,
The artist already showed his talent at a young age and developed into a painter with a completely own style.
From an early age he came into contact with the renowned painter J. Bevort, who helped him develop his talent. After John Bevort, he worked for some time with the interior and church painter Jan Jumelet.
Ernens gained particular fame for his colorful, somewhat suggestive and relief-like landscapes and flower compositions.
Several exhibitions have been held of his work, and Gerard Ernens is a member of the International Organization of Free Art.
