Leaning against the front wing, a redhead with a strict bun, a black blouse and short shorts, endless legs and golden heels, arms crossed: she looks to the left, out of frame, in a posture of waiting or refusal. Semiotically, the black of the clothing intrudes into a setting made entirely of chalky whites, mineral blues and mountain browns: she is the anomaly, the punctuation. The palm trees and the Sierra close the horizon; the short shadow signals noon. A smooth, almost photorealistic finish, in the vein of West Coast American realism.

Le Yack, a French emerging pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et Design (ESAD) of Orléans. He is an art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45. He is exhibited within a network of around forty galleries in France, Germany, Belgium, and the United States.
