Guglielmo Talamini (1867 - 1918)

He was born in Vodo di Cadore (Belluno) on December 25, 1867, in the 17th‑century family house that is still visitable today. He was directed toward technical studies in Oderzo (Treviso) and later found employment with a timber company; however, his vocation as a painter prevailed, to the point that the artist left his secure job and, in 1885, began attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, distinguishing himself among the best students, and at the Academy in Munich.
