The decoration features an elegant beige and gold baluster vase from which an abundant bouquet of flowers (red and cream roses, lilies, irises and foliage) emerges on a vivid red background. The composition is enclosed in a polylobed medallion and surrounded by black borders with polychrome floral scrolls and gold fillets.

This type of floral still life is very characteristic of Qajar lacquered production, frequently used for manuscript covers, albums, or inkstands.

Overall good condition of use.
• Lacquer wear on the edges and rubbed areas
• Small chips and localized cracks
• Some minor losses of paint
• Back verso worn (normal for a detached plate)

The central decor remains well legible and the colors are still vivid.
