M de Jongere (1912-1977) - Maashaven

Marinus Johannes Drulman, known under the pseudonym Marius de Jongere, was a Dutch watercolorist, etcher, draftsman, graphic artist and painter. He is especially known as a painter of the Rotterdam harbours.

Work is signed with J.M Drulman his real name, therefore we know this work is then between 1940 and 1945 made. The art painters had to sign with their own name through the art chamber that was controlled by the Germans.
