Andre Lichtenberg - London with Fog (Blue)

A stunning small print of a large scale study of London. The image was captured in 2013 in several high resolution photographs and reconstructed as a large scale artwork in 2020 during the pandemic. The work plays with the intersection between documentary photography an art, challenging the idea of the instantaneous moment via a much longer reconstructed passage of time.

Provenance from the artist studio. The print is signed on a label on verso and has an embossed artist stamp on recto. It also comes with a signed & dated Certificate of Authenticity. The artwork will be shipped flat (tracked in insured) well protected in acid free materials and a sturdy packaging

André Lichtenberg work has received numerous awards and been exhibited in museums and private galleries worldwide, including the Barbican Centre London in 1998, Centre Pompidou/IRCAM, Paris in 2015/16 and Fabrica, Brighton in 2018. His artworks are represented in numerous international art collections including the prestigious Joseph Cohen Family Collection in NY and the NHS Trust collection in UK.
