with a human head holding the strings
Labelled “Cesare Candi made in Genoa in the year 1937 C.c.”
Back length (excluding the end of the neck): 362 mm.
Overall length: 590 mm.
Width of the upper bouts: 165 mm; middle bouts: 122 mm; lower bouts: 207 mm.
The instrument is ready to play, refurbished by a luthier and with strings changed
The new case is included
The instrument is ready to be played without cracks. Ebony fittings, Aubert bridge made by the master and new strings.
The violin has a single-piece back made from beautiful wood with soft figuring, with a matching neck and scroll; the top plate is also of high quality, spruce with straight grain
The sound is powerful and bright
We do not ship outside the EU. Please do not bid if outside; any duties will be borne by the purchaser
