Esty O - Terrain of Dreams

I am a contemporary abstract artist working intuitively with acrylics, layered textures, organic forms, and handwritten elements.

My work explores memory, heritage, nature, and the passage of time through atmospheric compositions that evolve organically during the creative process. Rather than following a fixed image, I allow each painting to develop through layers of colour, gesture, transparency, and texture, creating works that balance spontaneity with depth.

Inspired by landscapes, botanical forms, weathered surfaces, and fragments of personal and collective memory, my paintings invite viewers to form their own emotional connections and interpretations.

A landscape seen only in the quiet of the imagination — warm layers of amber, burnt sienna and soft gold unfold like ancient earth, touched by streams of vivid sky-blue that flow freely through the composition. Delicate charcoal lines weave beneath the surface, tracing unseen paths and gentle contours, emerging softly through the paint to give structure and movement. Painted in acrylic with charcoal detail — where rich, fluid colour meets fine, thoughtful mark-making.
