Special Dutch ceramic cactus vase – sculptural organic design
A striking and exceptionally decorative Dutch cactus vase made of ceramic, executed as a sculptural whole of organically shaped cactus parts.
The vase consists of several separate, globular elements that together form one powerful sculpture. At the top there are several openings in which individual flowers or small bouquets can be placed. This makes the object both a vase and a standalone art object very decorative.
Particularly beautiful is the glaze: deep reddish-brown and aubergine tones are combined with a subtle metallic/bronze-like gloss. Along the raised ribs and edges lighter accents arise, further emphasizing the three-dimensional form. The glaze also intentionally exhibits vivid nuances and effects that give each part its own character.
