The purple climbs up from the deep, almost nocturnal depths to a clear haze of lilac and rosy ash, where the foliage dissolves into light. At the center, a core of golden petals, warm as a ray that finds a gap among the branches and illuminates a single spot of vegetation, lights up. Aqua-green stems run vertically across the entire surface, thin and tenacious, like a hidden structure supporting the bloom. The medium is dense and granular, built of overlapping impressions that bring forth the underlying layers. It is the image of a twilight garden, when color becomes more intense and every leaf holds the last light.
