Sculpture, Swan with cygnet - 9 cm - Patinated bronze

A patinated bronze sculpture of a swan with cygnet, mid-20th century, circa 1950–1970, naturalistically modelled as a resting swan with its long curved neck raised above a single cygnet nestled closely against its body. The plumage is finely textured, the group resting upon an integral base modelled as water.

The bronze bears an artist’s monogram to the base and displays an attractive variegated brown patina. Mounted on a rectangular black display plinth.

In very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear and variations to the patina consistent with age. Please refer to the photographs for a detailed impression of the condition.
