Glashütte Original - Aviator 8 - Men - 2016

The name Glashütter Tradition, with its long history, was relaunched in 1998 by D. Dornblüth with the entry “Glashütter Tradition Dornblüth” filed at the German trademark office. In 2009, the Glashütter Tradition brand was reinforced again by a buyout, focusing on individual and small-series production. This approach highlighted the brand’s commitment to exclusivity and artisanal quality. Despite the reputation and recognition Glashütte Tradition had gained for its high-quality watches, production was subsequently interrupted. The cessation of watch production marks the end of an important chapter in the brand’s history, but its influence on watchmaking and its traditions endures.
