A dense tangle of leaves stretches across the entire surface, from the deep, almost nocturnal green at the base to the bright light that appears higher up, where the foliage seems to absorb the sun. Among the branches, small flashes of violet light up, as fine as flowers just-bloomed or as traces of colored rain running down the stems. The material is dense, built in overlapping layers, and each leaf bears the mark of the gesture that placed it. The gaze enters the green as if into a summer undergrowth, seeking the point where the shadow opens. It is an image of silent growth, of nature breathing without haste.
