Description:
An exceptional, authentic menorah (7-branched Jewish candle holder) crafted from solid, heavy brass in Sweden in the second half of the 20th century (the 60s/70s).
The item features a traditional temple-style design with a richly adorned architectural base in a hexagonal plan.
The body and arms are covered with precise reliefs with plant and foliate motifs. On the bottom of the base there are original, clear factory markings:
Impressed inscription “MALM” (Swedish artisanal term for high-quality, heavy brass alloy)
Inscription “JERUSALEM” indicating historical inspiration of the motif
Model catalog number: 8180

Condition:
The candlestick is in very good vintage condition, preserved in its original state. It bears a natural, beautiful patina accumulated over decades, which lends it a noble character. In the candle sockets there are small, authentic traces of tarnish and wax residues, confirming the age and authenticity of the item. The construction is stable and very heavy.
