Description
A distinctive sculptural art glass vase in a beautiful purple/mauve base color, combined with vertical colored bands in red, orange, yellow and blue, among others.
The tall slender vase has a ribbed texture and tapers upward into a wide, strongly undulating flower-shaped rim. Due to the combination of transparent glass, the different colors, and the vertical lines, the appearance changes beautifully with the light.
The execution and design evoke Italian art glass. Because the vase is unsigned and lacks an original maker’s mark, it is offered carefully as Murano-style and not as proven Murano production.
The bottom is flat-finished/polished.
Dimensions: height approx. 27 cm, top opening diameter approx. 12 cm, base diameter approx. 10 cm, and weight approx. 860 g.
