Born and trained in Belgium, Anna, as a young designer, moved to the Czech Republic to work with a group of renowned glass masters. She began in 2002 designing her own glass collections.
Over the years, Anna Torfs has created the Basics and Edition collections. In 2011 she launched Objects, her third collection. No matter how distinctive, all three collections share the same approach: contemporary design with traditional glassmaking techniques as the basis from which you can explore and create.
The ability of glass to capture, reflect, and absorb light is the central theme in Anna’s work.
