Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that was meant to come to life.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught plastic artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), juxtaposing them with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or even Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addiction in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
