XTC’s aluminium sculpture Batte CARAMBAR Black, edition 5/30 and signed at the end of the bat, 2026, 71 cm high, 6 cm wide, 6 cm deep, finished by hand with acrylic paints and varnishes; COA included.
Description from the seller
Black CARAMBAR baseball bat by XTC.
with its joke on the back, of course!
Sculpture in commercially manufactured aluminum (baseball bat) customized, hand-finished by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the painted finish by the artist and not to the base object, the bat.
Fully painted with Montana spray paints, Posca markers, and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better durability over time.
Numbered out of 30 and signed at the end of the bat, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) supplied.
(like the shipped piece is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar)
Careful, trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumer culture, making them collide with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
All potential flaws are part of the work due to its entirely handmade creation.
