Philips ½ Watt – Original Vintage Advertising Poster in Antique Gilded Frame
A striking and highly collectible early Philips advertising poster, featuring three children in traditional Dutch dress gathered around a globe, with Eindhoven, Holland prominently marked. Above them, a glowing Philips ½ Watt lamp represents the company’s pioneering role in electric lighting.
The bold red “Philips ½ Watt” typography and beautifully illustrated globe make this a superb example of early Dutch industrial advertising.
Presented in an impressive antique gilded wood and gesso frame with ornate floral corner decoration and original glass.
Period: Approximately 1915–1920 (110+ years old)
