Charming vintage fish service by Sarreguemines, France, executed in glazed cream white ceramic with a detailed relief decoration depicting fish, scales and fins.
The set consists of 6 pieces:
4 individual fish plates, Ø 25.5 cm
1 large fish shaped serving platter, length 54 cm
1 fish shaped serving bowl / sauce bowl, length 22 cm
The impressive 54 cm serving platter forms the centrepiece of the set and is ideal for presenting a whole fish. The matching plates and bowl feature the same characteristic raised fish decoration.
The serving platter is marked Sarreguemines on the underside.
Condition
Vintage condition with signs of age and use. Some craquelure, small marks and imperfections may be present, consistent with the age of the ceramics. Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
