Description from the seller
Because of interest from domestic and international circles, no work by this painter was offered here for several months. The current painting, with a panel size of 35 x 35 cm, is of very recent date and was completed by the painter only recently. The work presents us with a beautiful Facon de Venise cup, flanked by a number of peaches. The colors used are in perfect harmony and the light sparkles in the glass. A beautiful painting that, like the frame, is in perfect condition. A corresponding Certificate of Authenticity and a CV are supplied with the painting.
The work of Leo Pors has been depicted several times in, among other art journals, Tableau, Collect, and VIND. It has been shown at many exhibitions, including in the Gorinchem museum, brought together with works by, among others, Ans Markus and Tjalf Sparnaaij. Worldwide there is interest in his still lifes, resulting in not only collectors in many European countries owning his works, but also in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, Japan, and Australia art lovers purchase his work. The paintings are also represented in various corporate collections.
