Hutschenreuther - Sylvia Lorelei - Plate (9) - Porcelain

A set of 9 vintage dessert plates made of fine porcelain from the Sylvia Lorelei range by the renowned German manufacturer Hutschenreuther. The green underglaze mark on the underside of the plate features the iconic Hutschenreuther Selb LHS Lion mark, which dates this particular collection to the period 1939–1965.
Given their age, the 8 plates are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or visible hairline cracks, a tiny glaze defect on one plate. The porcelain retains its beautiful lustre and the gold rim shows no signs of wear. Only one plate has two hairline cracks in the glaze, which are visible only from a certain angle and in very bright light, but structurally, the plate sounds in perfect condition when tapped (see last 4 pics)
