Richard Ginori - Vase (2) - Form 6557 - Richard Ginori

A splendid pair of porcelain cachepots is a classic example of the prestigious Richard Ginori manufactory. This is the famous model 6557, clearly inspired by table refreshment stands (or rafraîchissoirs) historically produced by the Doccia factory since the eighteenth century. It features a refined bouquet-style pattern of European flowers (also known as wildflower or rural bouquets), enriched by elegant finishes and gold gilt along the profiles and on the scroll handles. This specific production bearing the green crowned underglaze stamp dates predominantly to the 1950s–1960s.
